Halloween Countdown Day 19Sorry, I’m clay.* Update: A fellow Tumblrr (Tumblrer? Tumblror? How do you label one who Tumbls?) has called me out on labeling this beast a spider, insisting instead that it is a crab. I sent the following reply:
I’m looking at a JPG of the Monster Party scene in question, and you’re right - that is no spider. A crab, though? I’m not seeing it. It appears to have the head of a Tyrannosaurus or a bird, two long hind legs, a tail, and weird round things on its sides. I don’t know what that is, but it’s neither arachnid nor crustacean. My vote is that it’s a distant relative of Crocomire from Super Metroid.
—-Halloween is rapidly approaching, and B Shoots; Clay Jumps! will be celebrating with a very special Halloween Countdown. Everyday in October I’ll post a new Claymation .gif of a ghastly ghost, goblin, ghoul, or other creepy-crawly from the world of video games. As always, your requests are welcome.
